Above is the link to the remake summer video that I made in the summer, my video was the remake of 'Rizzle kicks- Down with the trumpets'. I thought my video remake was good because the editing skills that were used in the video made it effective to the target audience. The artists which we used to make the remake really fitted the target audience, our target audience was teenagers aged 16-19. They fitted the target audience because of what they were wearing, the music video had an urban feel to it.
I used a variety of camerawork techniques to make the music video really effetcive, such as close-ups, medium close ups of two shots of the artists, this made the artists more involved in the music video and made it seem more professional. Highkey lighting was used throughout the music video which enhanced the quality of the music video. I also filmed the video during the daytime because the originally video was filmed during the daytime which made it seem more similar to the the actual music video.
Overall I think my music video remake was made to a high standards, having tried to make it as effective as I can to make it seem like the orginal music video and also so it could meet the required target audience.
