Research : Carol Vernallis

Carol vernallis studies the camera work ad editing of music videos, she believes that the editing aspect of a video makes it show whether it is good or not, she said "music video editing is strongly responsive to music". Both her and Andrew Goodwin both agree on that statement that the editing in music videos is a strong element in the whole making of the the video itself.

I think the editing and the camera work in this video is really good, the good use of low angles and medium close up to show the artist and the jump cuts that are used, also the change in how the pace of the video is fast at some scenes and slow at others.
